      Hello Davines Community!

I want to talk to all of you about a project, I have an idea in mind and I really appreciate if you could help me.

What I want to ask you is your own contribution to make this tool special and unique by personalizing it with a  drawing on the Flamboyage Meche.

See the example and get inspired!!!

I’ve made my Flamboyage Meche, could you make your own one and post it on Facebook?

Be creative! I will choose the best idea you’re able to create and this one will became the new Flamboyage Meche Limited Edition!!!!

Good luck and may the best win!
      See you

Everyone’s doing the lob—a longer, swingy version of the bob. To create a quick, perfectly beveled lob line, Alterna Global Creative Director Michael Shaun Corby suggests this cool technique using the Alterna-tive Styling Band: Begin by applying Alterna Bamboo Style Flexible Control Gel to damp hair, then blow dry. “Freestyle produces a ‘raincoat’ of protection against humidity,” says Michael Shaun. Next, comb all strands with a small-tooth comb. Double or triple the Alterna-tive Styling Band (depending on the size of your client’s neck) and slip it over her head, letting it fall loosely. Gently lift the hair just above the band with your comb to create the bevel shape. Angle the shear so the lower blade is pointed upward and the top blade is pointed downward, then cut the hair from side to side underneath the band. Enter to WIN the entire Alterna Bamboo Style Collection!

Cool pixie cuts are holding strong as one of the most popular cuts of the season. Looking for a way to amp it up? TIGI European Creative Director Nick Irwin suggests creating movement in the style by giving it tons of texture. Start by applying TIGI Bed Head Candy Fixations Totally Baked Mousse to dry hair. Blow dry the hair completely with a hair dryer and work through with your fingers to create a multi-textured finish. Through the ends only, work through with your dryer and a round brush. Finally, work Candy Fixations Mega Whip (about the size of a half dollar) through the dry hair. Grab your hair dryer once more and, on a cooler setting, blast the hair to create more dimension and texture. Detail the look with your fingers to give it a perfect finishing touch. New York Fashion Week is right around the corner and we’re predicting the ponytail will get tons of play on the runways. Alterna’s Global Creative Director Michael Shaun Corby demonstrates a fun, playful pony that’s sure to get your creative Fashion Week juices flowing. First, prep towel-dried hair with Alterna Bamboo Kendi Oil then work Caviar Anti-Aging Radiant Smoothing Lotion into damp hair from roots to ends. Next, blow-dry hair with a round brush until the hair is completely dry. Focus on lifting the hair at the roots and away from the face to create lots of height and volume. Divide the hair in half by creating a horizontal part from ear to ear. Pull the back section into a sleek, tight ponytail and secure with an elastic band. Next, take the sides and pull them tightly into the band. Lightly tease the top section, smooth then pull back gently and wrap it around the elastic band to conceal it. Support the style with Caviar Anti-Aging Working Hairspray. Get a FREE Deluxe Sample of Alterna Bamboo Kendi Oil!
